This 3 km cross country ski trail skirts around the outside edge of Lake Lillian for both skate and classic skiing. Runners, hikers and fat bikers are welcome but please stay to the outside edge of the skate lane. Lake Lillian is a great place for lunch afterwards, with picnic tables, fire pits and an outhouse (bring your own t-paper). The parking lot is small and it get lots of use, so please pack out your garbage. Do not leave garbage in the fire pits or the outhouse!
From the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction, turn west on Athalmer Road towards Invermere. After you cross the railway tracks overpass, turn right onto Panorama Drive / Toby Creek Road. Follow the road for approximately 7 km. The Lake Lillian parking area is on your right.
As of February 20th 2015 the trail is closed due to lack of snow and poor ice thickness.

Great skiing without 2 stroke. Surface variable. Interesting views and often more sheltered and better surface than windermere.
