Trail Description

A perfect loop around the perimeter of Mount Nelson Athletic Park and J.A. Laird school. Great for taking the kids out on their run bikes or getting a walk in, while they play at the skate park. Be sure to check out the action at the skate park and learn about Invermere’s Christmas tree history at the interpretive sign. The route is marked with Invermere Trail System (ITS) Route 6 signs.

Start at Mount Nelson Athletic Park on the west side of Invermere, behind J.A. Laird Elementary School.
