Trail Description

A great trail network with spectacular views of Toby Creek and the Rocky Mountains. There are many options for putting together a ride, run or hike. Everything from a beginner 3km doubletrack loop to a 40km mostly singletrack epic. See the Kiosk signs for suggested options.


Directions to Trail Head

Lake Lillian Trailhead - From the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction, turn west on Athalmer Road towards Invermere. After you cross the railway tracks overpass, turn right onto Panorama Drive/Toby Creek Road. Follow the road for approximately 7 km. Turn right into the Lake Lillian parking area. To get to the trailhead, go back down Toby creek road for approximately 150 metres. Go through the gate on the right or south side of the road. If the gate is up when you go through, leave it up. Follow the doubletrack for 50 metres, then turn left onto the singletrack. Kloosifier Trailhead - From the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction, turn west toward Invermere on Athalmer Road. Turn Right on to Panorama Drive / Toby Creek Road. Follow the road for approximately 5 km. After a long steep hill, turn right on Clover Rd. The parking lot is on the north side of the road. The trail starts on the opposite side of Toby Creek Road from the parking lot.

Land Access Issues

Watch for and be respectful of horseback riders. Keep your dogs under control when close to the private property to the west of the Kloosifier, the land owner has had trouble with dogs chasing his horses.
