Trail Description

Overlook Trail connects Fairmont Hot Springs Resort to the Fairmont Ridge/ Marble Canyon condominiums. It follows the top of the south side of Fairmont Creek Canyon for 0.5 km. Start the trail high up on the ridge. As you go further down the trail, you end up right beside the creek. Look for a main double track trail going to the left and follow it to Geary Lookout. There is a nice single track trail going off the main trail to the right that also goes to Geary lookout. Stay on the trail going up the ridge from Geary Lookout for a fun loop back to the RV Park.

Directions to Trail Head

From the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction, travel south for approximately 23 km. Turn left on Fairmont Resort Road and travel 1.7 km to the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort parking lot. Go to the front desk and ask for a hiking map of the area or find the large Teepee in the RV park and start the trail from there.
