This wide switchback trail connects the Fairmont Lodge with the lower townsite. Enjoy the various poems posted on the trees along the route. Mountain poetry at its best!
From the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction, travel south for approximately 23 km. Turn left on Fairmont Resort Road and travel 1.7 km to the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort parking lot. Go to the front desk and ask for a hiking map of the area. The trailhead for this trail is not marked but can be located starting at the RV Park Office. Go up the ski hill road and make the first left into the parking lot above the RV Park office. The trail starts in the northeast corner of the parking lot and goes uphill to the old natural hot tubs . From the concrete hot tub building, go uphill again for approximately 200 m where you will find the trailhead post. While you're there, take the opportunity to dip your feet into the hot water oozing out of the ground.
