"Bang for the Buck" best describes this 1.5 km trail. At only 50 m elevation gain it's an easy walk, about 30-45 minutes round-trip. Just right for families with small children and people who don’t do a lot of hiking. The route follows the top of a narrow limestone gorge with Tokumm Creek cascading below. The trail crosses several bridges allowing for great views of the creek and cliff dwelling botanicals, culminating in a powerful waterfall below. Interpretive signs along the way explain the history of the rare geological formations. It's an excellent place to stop and stretch your legs between Calgary and the Columbia Valley. The trail can also be walked early in the season as any remaining snow is packed solid by the snowshoers who use it in the winter.
Set your odometer to zero at the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction. Head north 13 km to Radium. Turn right at the 4 way stop sign. Stop at the Park gates and buy a pass if necessary. Continue on Highway 93 through Kootenay National Park. Turn left at 100 km into the Marble Canyon parking area.

We always take out of town visitors here when passsing highway 93 from calgsry to invermere. Its a good spot to break up thr drive. The canyon is cross by many bridges and its great to see the power of water, gushing and grinding itself into the rock below you from mutliple view points.
