The Dragonfly Boardwalk and trail in Invermere run adjacent to a popular beach on Lake Windermere. This site allows visitors to James Chabot Provincial Park to enjoy views of both the nearby wetlands and the lake. Onsite interpretive panels provide educational materials on key species and features of the wetlands.
Set your odometer to zero at the traffic lights on Highway 93/95 at the Invermere junction. Drive into Invermere turning left at 2.2 km. At 2.5 km park in the James Chabot parking lot. Head southwest toward the beach for the start of the trail.
